Alison Hay is the most recent appointment as a partner at Murdoch Clarke. Predominantly working for insurance based clients, Alison has had experience in all aspects of dispute resolution/litigation since being admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1997. Tasmanian trained, Alison commenced her career in the north of the State working primarily in personal injury litigation.

After leaving Tasmania and joining the Melbourne office of a national firm, Alison focused her attention on insurance-related claims in a more general sense and gained experience in professional, financial services, construction and general insurance risk claims. Following a short stint overseas conducting general and reinsurance claims, Alison has returned to practise in her home State. She offers a breadth of experience in general commercial/civil litigation matters with a focus on construction, professional negligence, insurance and contractual disputes.
